Police Make Arrest in 2016 Murder Cold Case

MIDDLETOWN, NY – A breakthrough in the 2016 Andre Lee homicide case occurred on Thursday when officers from the Middletown Police Department executed a traffic stop.

The occupant of the vehicle, Camare Williams, was identified and discovered to have several active warrants.

An arrest warrant linked him to the murder of Andre Lee in 2016. Following his identification, Williams was transported to the Schenectady Police Headquarters.

On Friday, Williams faced Schenectady City Court for his arraignment. He was charged with several counts, including Murder in the 2nd Degree and weapon-related offenses.

Williams is currently held in the Schenectady County Jail.
