Jewish Man Attacked by Scooter Bound Attackers

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department’s Hate Crimes Task Force is actively investigating an incident of aggravated harassment on 18 Avenue.

According to the report, on Wednesday, around 7:20 pm, a 49-year-old man was in front of 4510 18 Avenue wearing traditional Jewish attire.

While checking his phone, two young men on a scooter passed him and abruptly stopped. The passenger alighted, approached the man, and knocked his Yarmulke to the ground after making an unspecified remark.

The duo then quickly left the scene, heading west on 18 Avenue towards 46 Street.

The suspects are described as males, possibly in their late teens to early 20s, of medium complexion and slim build.
