Three Wounded in Cambridge Shooting

CAMBRIDGE, MD – Cambridge Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert signaling multiple rounds of gunfire on Jimson Rd at 12:25 am on August 21st. Upon arrival, officers secured the scene and discovered that three individuals—a twenty-five-year-old, a nineteen-year-old, and an eighteen-year-old—had been shot.

Two of the victims were transported to the University of Maryland, Shock Trauma, while the other is receiving treatment locally. At this time, authorities have reported that none of the injuries appear to be life-threatening.In addition to the individuals injured, several vehicles and residences in the area were also found to have been damaged by the gunfire.The investigation into the shooting is currently ongoing, and the Cambridge Police Department is urging anyone with information to come forward.
