Suspect At Large in Laurel Shooting

Laurel, MD – Detectives with the Prince George’s County Police Department’s Western District are investigating a shooting incident in Laurel late on August 22.

At approximately 11:45 p.m., officers were called to the 8200 block of Brushyridge Road in response to shots fired. Investigation at the scene revealed that an unknown male suspect fired three rounds through the front door of an apartment.

The suspect was described as a tall, thin black male, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black shoes.

Officers searched the area but were unable to locate any suspects. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
