Series of Burglaries Plague New York City Businesses

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking public help in identifying an individual connected to a series of burglaries.

The first incident took place on Saturday, August 5, at approximately 11:00 pm.

An unknown male individual forcibly entered a closed restaurant at 221 East 138th Street, causing approximately $1,500 in damages before fleeing on foot.

The most recent event was reported on Sunday, at around 2:13 am.

An unknown individual forcibly entered a restaurant located at 3044 3rd Avenue. After breaking the glass of a window, the suspect removed a cash register drawer containing approximately $300 and fled on foot.

These burglaries have resulted in varying levels of property damage and financial loss for local businesses. Individuals with information about these incidents are asked to contact the police.
