Suspect Charged in January Murder Case

COLUMBUS, OH – The Columbus Division of Police has filed murder charges against two suspects in relation to a homicide that took place on January 24.

Missing Persons Unit detectives had been searching for Hajid Jordan, a 44-year-old man reported missing from Maryland, whose body was found in the parking lot of a Hilliard Rome Rd. business.

One suspect, William Robertson, 44, is already in custody at the Franklin County Jail.

Another suspect, 24-year-old Tajuan Smith, is currently at large.

The Columbus Division of Police asked anyone with information regarding Tajuan Smith’s whereabouts to contact their Homicide Bureau at 614-645-4730 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-TIPS (8477).
