NYPD Investigating Armed Robbery on 2 Train

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying an individual connected to a robbery that occurred on a southbound ‘2’ train.

On Monday, August 28, at approximately 4:20 pm, a 14-year-old male was approached by an unknown individual who displayed a firearm and demanded money. The victim complied, handing over approximately $7 before exiting the train at the 219 Street station. The victim was unharmed.

The individual in question remained on the train and his whereabouts are currently unknown. The New York City Police Department is asking anyone with information to come forward.

The individual being sought is described as male, but further details are currently unavailable. The investigation is ongoing, and the department is relying on public assistance to identify the suspect.
