80-Year-Old Man Critically Injured in South Philadelphia Shooting

PHILADELPHIA, PA – An 80-year-old man is in critical condition following a shooting that occurred on the 2600 block of Tasker Street around 9 a.m. on Monday.

The victim was found with gunshot wounds to the head and neck.

He was transported to a local hospital and is listed in critical condition. No weapons were recovered, and no arrests have been made.

The motive for the shooting is currently unknown.

The Philadelphia Police Department is investigating the incident and asks anyone with information to come forward.
