Man Pleads Guilty to Sexual Assaults in Somerset County

SOMERVILLE, NJ – Rogelio Calyeca Postrero has entered a guilty plea to two counts of first-degree Aggravated Sexual Assault. The plea was announced by Somerset County Prosecutor John P. McDonald and Chief of County Detectives Francisco Roman Jr. on last Thursday.

The case began on August 4, 2022, when Raritan Borough Police responded to a 9-1-1 call about a man near the Nevius Street Bridge.

Postrero was arrested and initially charged with Lewdness. Further investigation linked him to sexual assaults in Bridgewater Township and Franklin Township.

Postrero was also charged with two counts of 3rd degree Knowingly Exhibiting False Documents. He is currently lodged in the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing.

The Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office asked anyone with additional information to come forward.
