CAPE CHARLES, VA – Two Virginia residents became millionaires in separate lottery drawings on Saturday, September 9. One ticket matched five Powerball numbers, while the other won a net $1 million in the Bank a Million game.

The Powerball ticket, which missed the jackpot by only one number, was purchased at Sting-Ray’s, located at 26507 Lankford Highway in Cape Charles. The Bank a Million ticket, worth $1 million after taxes, was bought at Tobacco Zone, at 78 South Airport Drive in Highland Springs.

Winners have 180 days from the drawing date to claim their prizes and are advised to sign the back of their tickets to establish ownership. The Virginia Lottery recommends contacting them when ready to claim.
