NYPD Continues Investigating 35 Year Old Murder Cold Case

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying a male victim of a homicide that took place on Sunday, August 14, 1988.

At around 4:10 a.m., the unidentified male was discovered with stab wounds to his torso at 128 Pitt Street near Hamilton Fish Pool. He was transported to NYC Health and Hospitals/Bellevue, where he was pronounced deceased.

The victim is described as a male in his 20s, with a light complexion and black hair. No arrests have been made in connection with this case.

The NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline is requesting any information that could assist in identifying the victim or solving the case.
