64-Year-Old Woman Injured in Strong Armed Robbery

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying a man connected to an assault that took place last Saturday.

At around 3:27 pm, an unidentified male approached a 64-year-old woman in front of 177 E77th Street. The man shoved the woman, causing her to fall and scrape her knee before fleeing on foot.

The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, approximately 5’9″ in height, and between 25-35 years of age. He has a slim build and was last seen wearing a red hat, white long sleeve shirt, and blue pants. The victim is currently in stable condition.

The incident occurred within the jurisdiction of the New York City Police Department. Anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477).
