SUMMIT, NJ – St. Thomas Aquinas dominated the scoreboard, besting Summit 44-20 on Friday, to remain undefeated with a 4-0 record in the Big Central.

Game Summary

Both teams got off to a slow start, each scoring only a field goal in the first quarter. The tempo changed dramatically in the second quarter when St. Thomas Aquinas tallied 27 points, including a standout 68-yard touchdown pass from Roman Blanks to Zacai Manigo. Despite an 80-yard pass by Summit’s Carter Shallcross, the gap widened.

The momentum carried into the third quarter as St. Thomas Aquinas added two more touchdowns. Summit tried to mount a comeback in the fourth quarter with a 93-yard run from Shallcross, but it was too late to overturn the game.
