Baltimore Resident Wins $31,000 on Simulated Horse Race

BALTIMORE, MD – A Racetrax player from Baltimore City scored a $31,311 win on September 14, betting on long-odds horses 11, 12, and 10 in a $1 Trifecta bet over five drawings.

The winner said she enjoys playing the simulated horseracing game, particularly picking the numbers. Her Trifecta bet required her to select three horses to finish in first, second, and third place in exact order. Her win came in the third of her five races. She has not yet decided how to use her winnings.

The winner was accompanied to Lottery headquarters by her 77-year-old nephew, also a Racetrax fan who favors Quinella bets. His best win to date is $500.

The nephew noted the importance of maintaining composure after a win, stating, “You can’t get too excited because you don’t know who’s watching.”

Quick Mart at 300 Trappe Road in Dundalk shares in the good luck, receiving a Lottery bonus of $313.11, or 1% of the prize, for selling a winning Racetrax ticket worth $10,000 or more.
