Woman Attacked with Glass Bottles in the Bronx

NEW YORK, NY – A 23-year-old woman was assaulted with glass bottles on East 174th Street last Sunday, resulting in facial injuries and an ongoing police investigation.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:50 p.m. near 1544 East 174 Street. The victim was approached by three unidentified individuals who threw glass bottles at her, striking her face. The assailants then fled in a westbound direction on 174th Street.

The victim sustained a laceration to her face and was immediately taken to Jacobi Hospital by EMS. She is currently in stable condition.

Police have yet to identify or apprehend the suspects involved in the assault. Anyone with information regarding the incident is encouraged to contact local authorities.
