Wall Police Say Pay Attention To Your Dog, Here’s Why

by Phil Stilton

WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ – Wall Township Police Department has reported a notable increase in vehicle thefts, primarily targeting unlocked cars during the night. Authorities are urging residents to take preventive measures. One of those measures includes paying attention to your family dog and other dogs in the neighborhood.

To best protect their vehicles, the police department advises residents to:

  1. Lock car doors when parked and not in use.
  2. Remove items of value from the car.
  3. Utilize the vehicle’s alarm system if available.
  4. Park the vehicle in a garage when possible.
  5. Report any suspicious activity without delay.

Examples of such activities that should be reported include an illuminated dome light in an empty vehicle, activated car alarms, dogs barking unusually at night, or someone looking into car windows.
