Man Shot on Richmond’s Northside Monday Night Expected to Survive

RICHMOND, VA – A man was hospitalized after a shooting that took place at 5:13 p.m. on Monday.

Richmond Police Department responded to reports of gunfire on Carolina Avenue in Richmond’s Northside.

Upon arrival, officers found a man who had been shot. His injuries were not considered life-threatening.

The investigation is ongoing, and Richmond Police have not released any information regarding a possible suspect.
