Man Attacked and Beaten on Queens-Bound 7 Train

NEW YORK, NY – A 26-year-old man was assaulted and robbed while riding a Queens-bound “7” train near the 61 Street-Woodside Avenue subway station early Sunday morning.

The incident occurred on August 27 at approximately 3:55 a.m. when the victim found himself in a verbal dispute with unidentified individuals. The altercation escalated, and the individuals proceeded to punch and kick the victim, also taking his cellphone. The assailants then fled to an unknown location. The victim declined medical attention.

The New York City Police Department is actively investigating the case and is asking anyone with information to come forward.
