Man Shot Early Monday Morning in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, PA – At approximately 2 a.m. on Monday, Pittsburgh Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert reporting multiple rounds on the 4900 block of Yew Street.

Upon arrival, they discovered a male victim in the 600 block of S. Millvale Ave. who had sustained a gunshot wound to his lower body.

 He was transported to a nearby hospital where he is currently in stable condition.

Two vehicles on the scene were also found to have been hit by gunfire. The Pittsburgh Police’s Mobile Crime Unit was subsequently dispatched to gather evidence. As of now, the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
