Shooting Leaves One Injured at Brownsville NYCHA Building

BROWNSVILLE, NY – On Monday afternoon, officers from the New York City Police Department responded to a shooting at the Howard Houses, a NYCHA building located at 30 Glenmore Ave in Brownsville.

The emergency unfolded at around 2:30 pm, when a 911 call reported a shooting incident.

Upon arrival, a 25-year-old man was discovered with a gunshot wound to his left arm. He was rapidly transported to Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where he was stabilized and remains in stable condition as of Monday evening.

The identity of the perpetrator remains unknown. The NYPD is actively investigating the shooting, gathering evidence, and seeking any information that might lead to the apprehension of the assailant.
