PORT ALLEGANY, PA – District Attorney Stephanie Vettenburg-Shaffer announced the filing of a criminal complaint against Denise Evens of Port Allegany.

Officer Adam Dickerson of the Port Allegany Police Department led the charge after an investigation revealed that Evens, a school volunteer, had engaged in sexual activities with a student minor.

Evens has been charged with two counts each of Institutional Sexual Assault and Corruption of Minors.

Following her arraignment, an on-call magisterial district judge set her bail at $75,000.

He also imposed conditions, including no contact with minor children.
