Annual Trooper Marc Castellano Softball Tournament to Benefit Local Charities

BRICK, NJ – The Marc Castellano Foundation is gearing up to host its yearly softball tournament on Saturday, October 14, at the Drum Point Sports Complex.

The day promises intense softball competition as 16 teams, made up of local, county, and state law enforcement personnel, will compete for a noble cause.

Visitors can enjoy an array of activities, including food, drinks, entertainment, and various contests. Admission to the event is free, and all proceeds will go to the Marc Castellano Foundation.

Established in memory of Trooper Castellano, the foundation’s primary mission is philanthropic. They actively fund student scholarships, assist law enforcement families during tough times, support the Move Over campaign, and contribute to other worthwhile causes.

Trooper Castellano’s sacrifice is deeply remembered; he tragically lost his life on June 6, 2010, when a vehicle hit him on I-195 while he was on duty.
