Trenton Police Arrests Suspect for Weapons Charges After Gunshot Warning System Alert

TRENTON, N.J. – On October 11, members of the Mercer County Shooting Response Team arrested Jose Arnaldo Quijada, 30, for weapons-related offenses.

The arrest followed an extensive investigation into several shot spotter activations involving 5.7 ammunition rounds from February to October.

The investigation linked Quijada to these shots fired incidents.

A search warrant was executed at Quijada’s residence, located at 923 South Clinton Avenue, Apartment #2.

The search led to the recovery of an FN Five-seveN, 5.7 caliber semi-automatic handgun, and 5.7 ammunition rounds. Quijada is currently facing charges for the weapons offenses.
