COLUMBUS, OH – A Franklin County Grand Jury has formally indicted Brody Sieber, 39, of Columbus, for his alleged involvement in a deadly shooting incident in August 2022 that claimed two lives and left three others injured in the southern part of the city. The charges against Sieber include two counts of murder, two counts of felonious assault, and one count of possessing weapons while under disability.

The incident unfolded on August 1, 2022, when the Columbus Police were summoned to a bar located in the 100 block of Rumsey Road following reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, officers discovered Glen Clark, 50, with fatal gunshot wounds, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Nicholas Dowler, 34, another victim, was rushed from the scene but succumbed to his injuries later on. Three additional adults were injured during the confrontation and received medical attention at a nearby hospital. Detectives from the Homicide Unit deduced that the violence erupted following an altercation at the bar, which quickly spiraled into a gunfight.

Authorities are now urging anyone with information regarding Brody Sieber’s whereabouts to contact the Columbus Police Homicide Unit at 614-645-4730. Those wishing to remain anonymous can submit their tips to Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-TIPS (8477).
