SUFFOLK COUNTY, N.Y. – Christopher Volpe, 44, of Patchogue, has been sentenced to serve between 4 1/2 to 9 years in prison.

The sentence came after Volpe pleaded guilty to two counts of Burglary in the Third Degree in September.

The charges relate to a series of burglaries carried out on Dunkin’ Donuts franchises between December 28, 2022, and January 20 of this year.

Volpe, alongside co-defendants Michael Gruber and Kristen Osmolia, was linked to the theft of around $6,500 from five locations, with approximately $4,500 being recovered post-arrest.

Gruber has also pleaded guilty and awaits sentencing, while Osmolia’s next court appearance is scheduled for November 1.
