Two Brooklyn Teens Injured in Separate Broad Daylight Shootings

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Wednesday morning witnessed two separate shooting incidents in Brooklyn, leaving two teenagers injured.

The first incident took place around 9:15 a.m. at the intersection of Macon Avenue and Nostrand Avenue in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

A 17-year-old was shot in the back and was subsequently transported to Kings County Hospital, where he is in stable condition.

Around an hour later, another teenager, 18 years old, was shot in the lower back at a playground on East 100th Street in Canarsie. Lenox Academy, a nearby school, immediately initiated safety protocols for its students. The second victim was also taken to Kings County Hospital and is listed in stable condition.

No arrests have been made in relation to either incident, and the circumstances leading to the shootings remain unclear.
