Suspect in September Murder of Daniel Taylor Arrested

BALTIMORE, MARYLAND – Investigators have arrested 37-year-old Kenneth Mackay for the killing of 38-year-old Daniel Taylor on Presbury Street.

Detectives identified Kenneth Mackay as the suspect and obtained an arrest warrant. On October 9th, a routine traffic stop led to Mackay’s arrest when officers found that the vehicle tags on a Nissan Altima did not match the vehicle. He was transported to the Central Booking Intake Facility and charged with first-degree murder.

The incident occurred on September 7th,, when patrol officers responded to a Shot Spotter alert on McKean Avenue at approximately 3:12 a.m. Officers found Daniel Taylor with gunshot wounds on Presbury Street. Medics pronounced him dead at the scene.
