Two Men Arrested For D.C. Armed Robbery

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A recent armed robbery in Northeast D.C. has led to the arrest of two men by the D.C. Metro Police Department.

The incident occurred late Friday afternoon when, at around 5:10 p.m., the suspects reportedly confronted the victim in the 1200 block of Brentwood Road, brandishing a weapon and subsequently assaulting the victim before fleeing with stolen property. Quick response from law enforcement resulted in the capture of the suspects.

Damari Cousar, 20, from Southeast D.C., and Marcus Plowder, 32, from Northeast D.C., are facing charges related to the robbery. Cousar faces additional charges for unauthorized firearm possession and intent to distribute narcotics.
