Newark Police Issue Silver Alert for Missing Man

NEWARK, NJ – The Newark Police Division, under the direction of Public Safety Director Fritz Fragé, is intensifying efforts to locate Maurice Mccullers, a 59-year-old resident reported missing since August 21.

Mccullers, described as an African-American male, approximately 6 feet tall, and weighing 200 pounds with brown eyes and a brown complexion, was last seen wearing a black T-shirt, black pants, and black sneakers.

He was last observed at around 1:12 p.m. leaving 20 Frontage Road.

Director Fragé and the Newark Police are reaching out to the community, requesting that anyone with information about Maurice Mccullers’ whereabouts contact the department’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line.

Confidential tips that lead to Mccullers’ location may be eligible for a reward.
