Double Stabbing Sends Man, Woman to Hospital in Baldwin

BALDWIN BOROUGH, PA– A stabbing incident in Baldwin Borough prompted a response from the Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit. At approximately 1:14 pm, County 9-1-1 received reports of the incident in the 5300 block of Youngridge Drive.

Upon arrival, first responders found two victims, an adult male and an adult female, with stab wounds to the chest area. Both were promptly transported to a nearby hospital and are reported to be in stable condition.

Authorities have taken a suspect into custody at the scene. Homicide detectives have begun an investigation into the incident and are working in consultation with the district attorney’s office to determine potential charges.
