HARRISON TOWNSHIP, PA – The Allegheny County Police Department arrested Lenae Mills, 29, of Harrison Township, following her 11-month-old child’s hospitalization due to fentanyl exposure. On August 4, the department’s General Investigations Unit responded to UPMC Children’s Hospital where the child, initially unresponsive, was revived with Naloxone.

The investigation revealed that the child ingested a “cotton” used as a drug filter, left in the basement where Mills had previously used heroin. A search of the residence uncovered more “cottons” and drug paraphernalia, alongside children’s items. Blood tests confirmed the presence of fentanyl and cocaine in the child’s system.

Mills, arrested in Butler County, faces charges of felony aggravated assault and endangering the welfare of a child. She awaits extradition in Butler County Jail.
