Newark Police Seek Gunman in November 4th Shooting

NEWARK, NJ – Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé is seeking public assistance in identifying suspects and locating a vehicle involved in a shooting on November 4.

The incident, occurring at approximately 3:27 a.m. on Broad Street, led to one victim being injured.

Officers arriving at the scene witnessed a white sedan fleeing the location.

Five shell casings were recovered at the scene, and one suspect was observed entering an older model 4-door Hyundai Sonata.

The Newark Police Division encourages anyone with information to contact their 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All tips remain confidential and may qualify for a reward.
