MINEOLA, N.Y. – Nassau County District Attorney Anne T. Donnelly announced the arrest of Peter Ferrigan, a 56-year-old Amityville resident.

Ferrigan, the owner of PBF Home Improvements, LLC., is charged with Grand Larceny in the Second Degree and Scheme to Defraud in the First Degree.

The charges stem from two separate incidents in Long Beach. Between August 2019 and January 2021, Ferrigan allegedly defrauded homeowners of nearly $200,000.

According to the DA, Ferrigan contracted for home improvements, received payments, but failed to complete the work, diverting the funds for personal and other business uses.

Ferrigan, who pleaded not guilty, was released on his own recognizance and is due in court on December 1. He faces a potential 5 to 15 years in prison if convicted.
