Police Search for Missing 70-Year-Old Male in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Pittsburgh Bureau of Police is conducting an urgent search for a missing 70-year-old male, Cecil Tinsley. Mr. Tinsley, diagnosed with dementia, was last observed in the Larimer/Homewood West area of Frankstown Avenue on November 18, 2023, at approximately 9:30 a.m.

He walked away from his care facility and is described as being 6’1” tall. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing sunglasses, a black hat, a black jacket, blue jeans, and boots.

The police urge anyone with information regarding Mr. Tinsley’s whereabouts to contact 911 immediately.
