56-Year Old Shot on Jasper Street in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA, PA – In the early hours of Sunday morning, a 56-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound in a shooting incident on Jasper Street in Philadelphia’s 24th District.

The incident occurred at approximately 6:17 a.m. on the highway at the 36XX block of Jasper Street.

The victim, who was shot once in the right arm, received prompt attention from Philadelphia Police officers who transported him to Temple University Hospital. Upon arrival at the hospital, he was reported to be in stable condition.

Currently, the scene of the shooting is being secured by the police, as they continue their investigation into the incident.

No arrests have been made so far, and no weapon was recovered at the scene. The Philadelphia Police Department is actively seeking information and asks anyone with knowledge about the incident to come forward.
