Elderly New Yorker Attacked While Boarding Bus

BRONX, NY – The New York City Police Department has requested public assistance to identify a suspect involved in a recent assault. The incident occurred within the 44th Precinct on Sunday, November 26th.

At around 12:00 PM, a 69-year-old man was attacked while boarding a BX13 bus at West 166 Street and Ogden Avenue. An unidentified male assailant approached him from behind, causing him to fall and striking him multiple times in the head.

The victim suffered a laceration above his right eye and was subsequently transported to Harlem Hospital, where he is reported to be in stable condition.
