BROOKLYN, NY – Police reported a fatal stabbing at 123 Melrose Street in Brooklyn on Sunday, December 3. Responding to a 911 call at approximately 4:15 PM, officers of the 83 Precinct discovered a 47-year-old male with a torso wound. Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Woodhull, where he was pronounced deceased.
Authorities have detained a person of interest. The investigation is ongoing. The victim’s identity awaits family notification.
