HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA – Emanuel Sirnic, a 20-year-old from Latrobe, was charged by Pennsylvania State Police following an assault and robbery incident reported on November 23.

The victims, two young women, sought help at a nearby apartment after being pepper-sprayed and physically assaulted.

Investigations revealed the women were offered a ride home by Sirnic and were attacked near a cemetery on Starboard Villa Lane.

The assailants, including Sirnic, allegedly possessed knives and demanded valuables, resulting in physical injuries to the victims. Discrepancies in accounts were noted during follow-up interviews with Sirnic and the alleged accomplices.

Sirnic, considered a danger to the community, was denied bail. This case remains under investigation.
