Man Threatened to Attack NYC Girl If She Didn’t Give Up Her Bicycle

NEW YORK, NY – Police are investigating a theft that took place on Wednesday, December 13, at around 4:00 PM near Amsterdam Avenue and West 86 Street. A 13-year-old girl was approached by an unidentified male who threatened her with physical harm unless she surrendered her bicycle.

The suspect, described as being in his late teens with a medium complexion, then took the bicycle and fled the scene. Fortunately, the young victim did not sustain any injuries during the incident.

The search for the suspect is ongoing, and the NYPD is appealing to the public for any information that might lead to his identification and apprehension. Anyone with knowledge of the theft or the whereabouts of the suspect is urged to contact the authorities.
