12-Year-Old Boy Robbed at Gunpoint by Pajama-Wearing Armed Attacker on NYC Subway Train

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department is requesting public assistance in locating a suspect involved in a robbery.

The incident occurred on Friday, December 8, at about 12:30 pm. A 12-year-old male victim was approached by an unidentified male on the southbound #6 train at Morrison Avenue – Soundview Station.

The suspect demanded the victim’s jacket and threatened him with a non-displayed firearm before fleeing the train at Whitlock Avenue Train Station. No injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, wearing blue pajama pants and a multicolored camouflage jacket.

The New York City Police Department has made media available regarding the incident and requests anyone with information to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
