Multiple Arrests Made in Connection with North Eutaw Street Shooting

BALTIMORE, MD – In a significant development, Baltimore police have made multiple arrests related to the shooting of a 46-year-old woman on October 19, 2023, in the 800 block of North Eutaw Street.

On December 27, 2023, Eastern District patrol officers arrested 32-year-old Brian Strawder of Baltimore. Detectives linked Strawder to the shooting incident and subsequently transported him to the Central Booking Intake Facility. He faces charges including first-degree attempted murder and additional charges.

In a related action on December 28, 2023, members of the Capital Area Regional Fugitive Task Force apprehended 31-year-old Katiera Womack and 32-year-old Phillip McCoy, both from Baltimore. Like Strawder, Womack and McCoy are believed to be involved in the same shooting incident. They were also taken to the Central Booking Intake Facility and charged with first-degree attempted murder among other charges.

The original incident, investigated by Central District patrol officers, occurred in the early hours of October 19, 2023. Officers responding to a report of gunfire found a 46-year-old female victim with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
