51-Year-Old Man Robbed at Knifepoint on NYC Subway Train

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York City Police Department seeks public assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a robbery on a southbound “J” train. The incident occurred at the Chambers Street subway station on Thursday, around 8:10 am.

According to the report, a 51-year-old male victim was approached by an unknown male who displayed a knife and demanded the victim’s cellphone.

The victim complied, and the suspect fled on foot. No injuries were reported in this incident.

The police have released media depicting the suspect, available at the Department of Criminal Police Information (DCPI).
