Jackson Bids Farewell to Veteran Cop After 25 Years of Service

JACKSON, NJ – On December 29th, the Jackson Police Department celebrated the retirement of Detective Lieutenant Wayne Olejarz with a ceremony attended by colleagues, family, and friends.

DLt. Olejarz, who joined the Jackson PD in August 1997, has had a distinguished career spanning over two decades.

Throughout his tenure, DLt. Olejarz has made significant contributions to the department.

He was a member of various specialized teams, played a crucial role in fleet management, and was instrumental in updating training programs and agency policies.

His career is marked by numerous awards and commendations, reflecting his dedication and service to the community.
