Man Shoots Self, Dies In Front Of This New Jersey Police Station

TOMS RIVER, NJ – At around 3:00 PM today, Toms River Police Department officers found a male with a self-inflicted gunshot wound in the parking lot of their headquarters on Oak Avenue. The officers quickly provided medical assistance to the individual.

After administering immediate aid, the injured male was transported to Community Medical Center by Silverton First Aid. However, he was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

The police department has initiated an ongoing investigation into the incident. Further details about the circumstances leading to the event or the identity of the individual have not been disclosed at this time.
