Myrtle Beach Win Hits $200,000 Lottery Jackpot

COLUMBIA, SC – A Myrtle Beach man won $200,000 while scratching off a lottery ticket during a car wash visit.

The winner, who shared his emotional reaction with South Carolina Education Lottery officials, said, “When I saw how much I won, my eyes teared up.” He had purchased the $5 ticket from 365 Stores LLC at 4570 Socastee Blvd. in Myrtle Beach.He expressed a desire to use the winnings thoughtfully, particularly for his children, noting that he hasn’t spent much of it yet.As a reward for selling the winning ticket, 365 Stores LLC received a $2,000 commission.In the 5 Spot game, one top prize of $200,000 remains, with odds of winning set at 1 in 660,000.
