Northwest Baltimore Shooting Under Investigation Following ShotSpotter Alert

BALTIMORE, MD – Baltimore Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the Northwest District on January 10, 2024, at approximately 8:17 PM, in the 2600 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway, leading to an ongoing shooting investigation.

Upon arrival, officers found evidence of gunfire. Shortly after, they were notified of a 24-year-old male with multiple non-life-threatening gunshot wounds at a local hospital.

Northwest District Shooting detectives have taken over the investigation. The Baltimore Police Department encourages anyone with information related to the incident to contact Central District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2466. The investigation is actively ongoing to ascertain the details surrounding the shooting.
