WESTMINSTER, MD – A Westminster resident has won the $50,000 Bonus Match 5 top prize in the Jan. 10 drawing, marking the third significant win in Maryland for 2024. The winning ticket was sold at Wawa #590 at 805 Leidy Road in Carroll County.
The winning numbers were 15, 29, 30, 31, and 37, with a Bonus Ball of 2. This latest win follows closely on the heels of a top-prize win in Riverdale on Jan. 9.
Lottery officials advise the winner to sign the ticket and store it securely. The winner has 182 days to claim their prize. Detailed instructions for claiming the prize, either by mail or in person, are available online. Prizes over $25,000 must be claimed at the Lottery headquarters in Baltimore, located in the Montgomery Park Business Center at 1800 Washington Blvd., Suite 330. Due to current policies, the Claims Center in Baltimore requires an appointment for prize claims.
Wawa #590, the retailer of the winning ticket, will also be celebrating, as the store will receive a $500 bonus from the Lottery for selling the top-prize ticket.
