Howell Patrolman Receives Award for DWI Prevention Efforts

MONMOUTH COUNTY, NJ – Howell Patrolman Alex Nastase was recently honored with the Kimberly Smith Ames award.

The award was released by the Monmouth County Traffic Officers Association.

It recognizes Nastase’s exceptional commitment and dedication to reducing DWI-related incidents in the community.

In 2023, Nastase led his department with an impressive 28 Driving While Intoxicated arrests.

The award ceremony included Nastase’s supervisor, Sgt John Barroqueiro.
