Multi-Vehicle Crash in Milford Leaves One Dead

MILFORD, DE – A fatal crash occurred on Thursday morning, on Bay Road in Milford, resulting in one death.

The incident involved a 2015 Chrysler 200, a 2016 Acura TL, a 2013 Toyota Sienna, and a 2016 Ford Focus.

The Delaware State Police are investigating the crash, which began when the Acura collided with the rear of the Chrysler.

Subsequently, the driver of the Acura was struck by the Toyota while crossing the road and was pronounced dead at the scene.

This individual, a 78-year-old man from Smyrna, will be identified post-family notification. Other involved parties, including the drivers of the Chrysler, Toyota, and Ford, as well as the occupants of the Chrysler and Toyota, either received medical treatment or were unharmed.
