28-Year-Old Man Fatally Shot in Brooklyn, Police Investigating

A shooting incident late on Wednesday, January 24, has resulted in the death of a 28-year-old man in Brooklyn. The New York City Police Department responded to a 911 call at approximately 11:36 PM, reporting a shooting at the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Rockaway Avenue, within the 73rd Precinct.

Upon arrival, officers found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the torso. He was swiftly transported by Emergency Medical Services (EMS) to Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, the man was pronounced dead at the hospital.
